6/5/2009 At the 3rd Play Off Game of the National Women’s Volleyball Championship, Panathinaikos beats Olympiacos with 3-0 and wins the title. During the victory ceremony, 10 team players and the team coach, appear wearing T-shirts with the “TSO & LO” motif on the back. For the sexual innuendo, the players who wore the shirts will be penalized with one matchday and during the next season, at the first game, which coincidentally is against Olympiacos, they won’t play and the team will lose with 3-0 since the team’s line-up consist of young players only.

6/5/1974 Because of the Guillaume affair, Willy Brandt (his real name was Herbert Karl Frahm) resignes from his position as chancellor of Federal Republic of Germany. When he was 23 years-old, disguised as a Norwegian journalist, he went to Berlin to watch the Olympic Games and work with the german resistance under the name of Willy Brandt. In 1933, he left Germany for Norway to escape Nazi persecution and he permanently returned to Berlin in 1946 getting involved in politics. In 1957 as Berlin mayor, in 1964 as the chairman of SPD (Social Democratic Party) and finally in 1969 as a chancellor.
